Audrey Pott founded The Local Root Belize with a simple idea: the most meaningful travel days are the ones designed by people who actually live where guests are standing.
The Local Root Belize is an independent tour, travel planning, and concierge company based on Ambergris Caye. We work across the island and the Belizean mainland with a hand-picked roster of local guides, captains, instructors, and specialists who treat their work as a craft, not a transaction.
We are not built around generic inventory. We are built around local knowledge, relationships, timing, and the belief that a better travel day starts with the right person guiding it.
